International Biogeography Society Early Career "Advances in Biogeography" Conference
The conference will focus on postgraduate students and those who have recently completed their doctorates (up to five years) interested in biogeography topics. The aim is to provide a forum in which early career biogeographers have an opportunity to present and discuss their work through formal presentations (oral and posters), and to encourage the formation of informal peer-to-peer networks. The evening mixer events will also be attended by IBS board members and other senior scientists. Finally, there will be four keynote talks by professional biogeographers covering a range of career stages and topics, plus a science-writing workshop open to all attendees that will be led by the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Biogeography.
