A Convergence of the Arts and Sciences for the Environment

A meeting between the postgraduate students of the School of Geography and the Environment and the Prince's School of Traditional Arts
Objective: to introduce knowledge, values, wisdom and practical skills under-lying the design and production of traditional arts and to discuss ways in which these assets can be brought to bear on contemporary social-environmental issues.

| 11:40-12.30 | The Timeless Qualities of Traditional Architecture and their Relevance to Building and the Built Environment Today (presentations of 15-20 minutes each plus Q&A)

| 12:30-13.00 | Traditional Methods and Design Today (20 minute presentation plus discussion)

| 13:00-14:00 | Lunch hosted by Oxford MSc in Environmental Change and Management students |
| 14:00-16:00 | Response from Environmental Change and Management Students (15 minute presentation, followed by group work)
