Desert and Dryland Regions Meeting

2-5pm, Friday, October 2, 2009, St Cross College, University of Oxford

This is an invitation to meet with others at Oxford who undertake research in desert and dryland regions. The idea is to see who is working on or in deserts across the university, what is being done, and if there may be points of mutual interest. Coming from the School of Geography and the Environment the Social Science division encourages the meeting as it brings people together from different disciplines. The gathering is inclusive, subjects relating to arid and semi-arid lands are welcome.

The afternoon will provide an opportunity to introduce your individual research followed by directed questions for debate and general discussion. Drinks will follow the discussion.

Please contact if you are able to attend. Do tell others who may be interested.
